An Act Relative to Universal School Meals (H.714/S.314) has been extended by the Joint Committee on Education! This is a critical moment in the Feed Kids campaign: the committee’s decision will determine whether or not School Meal for All will continue on in the legislative process.
With federal pandemic waivers expiring on June 30th this year, kids across the state do not have time to wait. We need your help to move School Meals for All past this key decision point. Please urge your legislators to support H.714/S.314: An Act Relative to Universal School Meals.
If School Meals for All is passed, every meal served through the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program will be universally free for any student who wants or needs it.
